Hello Patriot Families!
We can’t believe the time has come to begin thinking about back to school! Our teachers are already thinking ahead for the upcoming school year and have begun to make wishlists of items they need for their classrooms.
This year we are organizing the “George Washington High School Adopt-A-Teacher Program.” Teachers have created & sent us their wishlists and we are ready to match them with a community member to support their classroom. We have a large staff and will need at least 53 sponsors for everyone to be adopted.
If you or someone you know is interested in adopting a GW teacher please fill in the linked Google Form. Adopting a teacher is completely optional, but if you choose to adopt please plan to purchase a few items from their lists to help them get a jump start on the school year.

Some important dates to remember:
August 6th-8th - Be on the lookout for an email matching you to a GW teacher
By August 12th - Please contact the teacher you were matched with by this date.
August 19th - Have your donation shipped/delivered by this date, or have a plan made with the teacher you are sponsoring.
